Sharon Stone Reveals She’ll Play a “Wee Part” In an Upcoming Marvel Film

The MCU has been home to some of the biggest names in Hollywood–stars that have made their debut playing classic comic book characters have ranged from Jeff Bridges to William Hurt to Anthony Hopkins. Now, another actress has revealed she’ll be playing a part in an upcoming Marvel movie–but in typical Hollywood fashion, she can’t spill any of the important details yet.

On The Late Late Show With James Corden, actress Sharon Stone was asked if she’d ever consider being in a superhero movie–a fitting question, given that she was sharing the interview couch with Captain America: Civil War star Sebastian Stan. Turns out she’s actually going to be in one!

“I’m just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can’t tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements,” Stone confirmed–much to the surprise of Stan, who apparently was hearing this news for the very first time. No further details were shared about the role Stone will be playing–and frankly, I’m surprised she was even able to share that much given how good Marvel is about keeping movie details on lockdown.

Now, the only mystery remains: will she be appearing in one of the upcoming Avengers movies, or it will it be any one of the solo spinoff movies we’re scheduled to get over the next couple years? At this point, it could be anything from Infinity War to Spider-Man: Homecoming to Black Panther–although I’d kind of like to see her in the Captain Marvel film. Or it could be fun for her to reunite with her former Basic Instinct co-star Michael Douglas in Ant-Man and The Wasp.
