Sherlock Will, Apparently, Be More “Refined” in Sherlock Christmas Special

Also, new Funkos to appease our elementary school desires.

Looks like today’s Sherlock panel at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour didn’t prove too fruitful when it comes to revealing new details (even the clip shown was apparently the same one from Comic-Con). Aside from the fact that, apparently, our titular detective will be more refined in the upcoming Christmas special, which is set to take place in the Victorian era.

So said EP Steven Moffat at the panel:

Sherlock is a little more polished. He operates like a Victorian gentleman instead of a posh, rude man. He’s a lot less brattish.

(FYI: Watson will be “more uptight” than ever in the new time period.)

Again, these are not major teases, but something to chew on while await more details on this special and the season to follow after it. Another thing to help us get through the wait? These adorable Sherlock Funkos, which you may or may not have seen already.
