I’m glad it’s Ridley doing it, and I’ll be as curious as anyone, or maybe more curious, to see it. I think he took my suggestion. Fox wanted to go to earth and I said: ‘That’s so boring. Who wants to see aliens on earth?’ I said ‘go back to the planet’.”Sigourney Weaver, on Prometheus.

Weaver spoke candidly to The Independent about struggling with Fox Studios to approve a final Aliens movie, despite knowing they’d be unlikely to approve a movie starring a female action hero in her sixties. She eventually abandoned the idea, and looking forward to Prometheus, whether or not the plot was directly inspired by her. “‘That’s show-business,’ she says [about not being cast]. ‘I don’t take it personally.'”

She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
