Smithsonian Loses All Credibility by Suggesting a Dragon Could Not Take Down an Apache Helicopter

What do we do when we are awake?

Recommended Videos

The Smithsonian Channel has released this video, whose narration begins “Dragons, according to lore, grow up to 85 feet long with a wingspan of 170 feet, fly up to 80 miles per hour, and spit fire at 6330 degrees Fahrenheit.” But the lore they’re drawing on can’t possibly be award winning documentary Reign of Fire, because then they would know that it takes at least five men, a gold axe, an explosive crossbow, and Matthew McConaughey to bring down a dragon. Get your facts straight, Smithsonian.

Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
