Spider-Gwen Set to Re-Launch, Plus A Spider-Gwen Video Game Character

Face it, tiger. You hit the jackpot.

Spider-Gwen stole the hearts of plenty of people when she made her premiere in Edge of Spider-Verse #2, as the recipient of freaky radioactive spider powers instead of Peter Parker. Since then, she’s had her own comic series spun off from the Spider-Verse storyline, her own riotgrrl song (along with her fictional band, The Mary Janes), and her own line of merch on WeLoveFine.

Her series is getting a re-launch, starting with Spider-Gwen #1. It’ll be helmed by the same creative team  of Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez, the minds behind the current Spider-Gwen run, and it’s set to pick up where the last book left off. According to a report from IGN.com, there’ll be references to Secret Wars and Spider-Verse, but it’ll be business as usual for the punky webslinger.

In addition, Spider-Gwen is going to get her very own video game character in Marvel Contest of Champions, a mobile fighting game. Check out her 3D model below.
