Things We Saw Today: ‘No Way Home’ Home-Release Marketing Finally Embraces All Three Spideys!
Spider-Man: No Way Home was not only a huge moment for Tom Hollan’s Peter Parker, but it was also the first time that fans got to see all three live-action Spider-Man actors together. The film, which features a return for both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, tried its best to keep their roles a secret, but we have since been gifted with a new promo for the DVD and digital release of the movie!
In a new look, the ad shows the villains that Peter Parker has to face off against, and then, at the end, all three Spider-Mans swing into action before giving us a glimpse of the scene where Garfield and Maguire’s Peter Parkers do not know who the Avengers are.
While we may have gotten over the initial love of seeing Maguire and Garfield back in the suits, this is kind of incredible to see. We got to watch the magic of them returning to the world of Spider-Man, and now they’re in promos with their own posters again, and it just feels like a dream come true for lifelong fans of the franchise.
Plus, I do love the official No Way Home account loving our love of Andrew Garfield.
Are we going to have an influx of memes and gifs now that the movie is coming out on digital? Yes, obviously, but also, if anyone wanted to make me a band t-shirt that says “The Avengers” with all three of the Spider-Mans on it, I would absolutely wear it all the time.
