Watch Star-Lord’s Origin From the Animated Guardians of the Galaxy Series

The Guardians of the Galaxy movie skipped over this part of Peter Quill’s origins as Star-Lord and only mentioned the events, but now the cartoon is filling in the blanks with its Origins prequel series. This clip is a sneak peek at the second episode, and you can already watch the first on iTunes.

I enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy, but from what I’ve seen of the animated version so far, the humor feels less forced, which leaves me pretty excited about it—although a negative GotG review may have tainted my feelings before I got to the theater. What do you think?
