How Are They Gonna Get Out of This One? The First Star Trek Beyond Trailer Is Finally Here

Aaaaah! And other incoherent excited noises!

What are your thoughts, friends? We at TMS HQ feel like this is a way more light-hearted trailer than we’ve seen for previous installments in the franchise, which I kinda like. Maybe that’s the Justin Lin touch? To be honest, if this movie is more like Furious 6 than it is Into Darkness, I’ll be pretty happy.

From director Justin Lin comes STAR TREK BEYOND starring Idris Elba, Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zach Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Karl Urban. In theaters July 22nd.
