The Mary Sue Giveaway: Tickets to Star Trek: Live in Concert at San Diego Comic Con!
To boldly go... where no musician has gone before.
We’re giving away tickets to Star Trek: Live in Concert at the concert’s tour stop at the San Diego Symphony at Embarcadero Marina Park South in San Diego, California on July 26th. That’s the Saturday of San Diego Comic Con International! Star Trek: Live in Concert is an event that “celebrates the extraordinary collaboration between film and music,” as the San Diego Symphony brings Michael Giacchino’s Star Trek movie score to life in time with the Star Trek films, playing on the theater’s big screen. Giacchino himself, as well as actor John Cho, will be attending the performance. Here are the details:
- One winner of our giveaway will receive FOUR tickets to Star Trek: Live in Concert, a copy of Star Trek: Music from the Motion Picture signed by Michael Giacchino.
- REMEMBER these are tickets for ONE concert at ONE time in ONE place, and transportation will not be covered. So if you can’t make it to the San Diego Symphony on July 26th, you shouldn’t enter the contest!
- On the other hand, you can still attend the concert if you don’t have tickets to SDCC.
To enter, follow us on Twitter and Tweet this and exactly this, with no changes, by Tuesday (tomorrow!), July 15th at 5pm EST:
I want to #boldlygotoStarTrekLive thanks to @TheMarySue! http://bit.ly/1jrI4eA
We’ll pick one winner and contact them by DM. DO follow us on Twitter in order for us to contact you. Anyone not following us will be disqualified. DO watch your direct messages! Since July 26th is not very far away, we’d like to contact the winner as soon as possible. DO check and make sure you can attend this, specific concert. Please don’t enter only to tell us that you did so accidentally, that’ll only delay us from contacting the real winner!
Remember, the contest will be closed by tomorrow evening, July 15th, so get tweeting!
