Star Wars: Rogue One Writer Reaches Out to Neil deGrasse Tyson for Astronomy Help

Use the physics!

Help us, Neil deGrasse Tyson! You’re our only hope!

Tyson’s been vocal online about the science in movies like Gravity and Interstellar to varying degrees of harshness, so reaching out the famous astrophysicist preemptively to make sure the science in the first Star Wars Anthology film is sound is a pretty smart decision by writer Chris Weitz. He hasn’t responded yet, but we can only hope that Tyson will answer the call.

That way, maybe Rogue One will be more scientifically sound than you can possibly imagine.
