This is a rebellion, isn't it?

“What will you do when they catch you? What will you do if they break you? If you continue to fight, what will you become?” Although Rogue One isn’t yet in theaters, these words feel like they’re directed right at us. Right now as we fight against hate and oppression, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story feels more relevant than ever, a fact noted by this touching CBR article.

Writer Chris Weitz, who praised the CBR article on Twitter, agrees and responded to Donald Trump’s rise to power with a symbol against hate that he encouraged fans to share. Designed by Seth Adams, Weitz and many others are sharing the Rebellion symbol with a safety pin. The safety pin is part of a movement that began in Britain after the Brexit vote. People wore the pin to show solidarity to refugees, immigrants, and other who felt unsafe or scared

Writer Gary Whitta also shared his support, along with Mark Hamill who retweeted the post.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16.
