As a film major, I can tell you: Stop motion animation takes a lot of work, a lot of patience, and a lot of time. I can also tell you that these people are probably some of the most patient and dedicated people we’ve seen in a while, because, well, wow. Sumo Science at Aardman Animations created, or at least took advantage of, the world’s largest stop-motion animation sets, and made a video that is both charming and very impressive. With a phone. All I ever did was make a pen dance.
