You know this has been bothering you for, like, 25 years: jumping over the flagpole at the end of Level 1-1 in the original Super Mario Bros. for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Well, your answer comes now. After a lot of trial and error, a glitch was found that enabled the epic 8-bit leap, which was only though possible in level 3-3 of the same game.
