You hear that? That's me screaming.

BuzzFeed recently posted a new trailer for the new Syfy series based on Lev Grossman’s urban fantasy novel, The Magicians. And it. Is. Magical.

For starters: this trailer actually looks pretty great. There’s drama, there’s style, and there’s the proper moodiness one would expect from having read the book (looking at you, Eliot). Most importantly, Lev Grossman is also heavily involved with the development of the series, which means we can probably expect much of the wit and dark humor that was peppered throughout the book.

Everyone is a bit older, and Quentin is a little more… *ahem* dashing than expected. But those are simple nitpicks compared to the fact that holy crap they’re making a show based on The Magicians.

What did you think of the trailer? Magical? Boring?
