Taco Bell is Now Offering Breakfast

When you think “breakfast,” you can now start thinking “Taco Bell,” as the fast food chain is trying their hand at the early morning meal everyone age fifteen t0 thirty skips in favor of sleeping an extra few minutes. Considering the usual repertoire of items on offer at Taco Bell, one wouldn’t be too surprised to find out most of their breakfast offerings are of the breakfast burrito variety. The new breakfast menu, dubbed “FirstMeal,” was introduced today at over 800 of Taco Bell’s locations across Western states.

Taco Bell will be serving from the possibly terrifying menu from 8 or 9 AM until 11 AM, and will include partnerships with some recognizable brands, such as Johnsonville, Cinnabon, Tropicana, and Seattle’s Best Coffee. The FirstMeal menu consists of the following items:

  • Sausage or bacon and egg burrito
  • Hash browns
  • Seattle’s Best Coffee
  • Seattle’s Best Coffe premium vanilla or mocha iced coffee
  • Tropicana orange juice
  • Johnsonville sausage and egg wrap
  • Steak and egg burrito
  • Grande skillet burrito

Three different combos will be offered, all for $3.99, and they will include a drink and hash brown.

Though one may not assume Taco Bell’s breakfast offerings would be worthy of even being near your mouth, much less inside of it, fast food chains provide some surprisingly tasty breakfast items — the regular complaint that McDonald’s stops serving from their limitedly available breakfast menu too early comes to mind, along with their actually quite good (and strong) coffee. So, if you happen to cruise by a Taco Bell early in the morning and notice a weird new breakfast menu, you might want to try it out for posterity’s sake, so you can tell your grandchildren that you ate from Taco Bell’s breakfast menu once upon a time when the world made more sense than it will when you’re a grandparent.
