The Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Has Leaked Online, and It’s Everything We Heard
So far, we’ve only been able to go on second-hand descriptions of the Avengers: Infinity War footage that was screened at San Diego Comic-Con, but if you want to put some visuals with those words, now’s your (likely very short) chance. You can catch it over on YouTube if Marvel hasn’t sniped it by the time this goes live.
Basically, it’s exactly as described: Thor collides with the Guardians’ ship—complete with the comedic beat of Rocket asking for him to be wiped off the windshield—as it seems that something has gone terribly wrong. Everyone else makes an appearance, including Loki, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Cap’s beard, and eventually, Thanos himself. There’s that scene we’ve heard about with an injured Peter Parker apologizing to Tony Stark, which seems ominous, but probably some misdirection.
Also ominous is the talk of destiny before the cut to Stark’s face, followed by Thanos unleashing a crushing, infinity gauntlet-powered blow. This is what the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far has been building towards, and the sheer scale of it all is fittingly mind-blowing.
