A time-skip can be an exciting, yet perplexing, time in the life of any young anime series. A series may experience some changes that can be confusing at first, but we assure you that is totally normal. A series may start to smell a bit strange, or characters may grow hair in places they didn’t have it before, or perhaps certain body parts get inexplicably bigger. These sorts of changes are a natural part of the life cycle of any anime series, and Black Clover is no exception.

When is Black Clover’s time skip?

So what exactly happened in the Black Clover time skip, you ask? Well, little Timmy, it seems that the power levels of many of the characters went through a little growth spurt. The Magic Knights all get rougher and tougher, with a little help and guidance from the mages of the Heart Kingdom. Asta himself begins to see some exciting new changes, as he’s beginning to master anti-magic training with the help of his guidance-counselors, the Spirit Guardians. While he’s not quite as strong as Yami yet, the little guy sure is getting there! I mean, look at his muscles! Maybe the little tyke isn’t so little anymore. They grow up so fast, don’t they? Especially when the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Gosh!

It's starting to get sad.
