The highly anticipated horror film has finally released their first look at the adult Losers Club. Check out the trailer for IT Chapter Two above.

The focus is on Bev Marsh (now played by Jessica Chastain) in this trailer, as she returns to her childhood apartment. An old woman now lives there alone… or so we think. As we know from the first movie, what happens in Derry is rarely what it seems.

The slow build of horror and tension is excellent in the trailer, as Bev realizes something is not quite right with the old woman and, even worse, realizes the connection to Pennywise. It’s then when the trailer really kicks into gear and we see glimpses of most of the Losers club as adults. James McAvoy as Bill gets some serious screen time, which makes sense as Bill was the de fact protagonist of the first film as is the leader of the club. We also get shots of Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransome as Eddie, and, of course, Bill Hader as Ritchie.

We also see glimpses of the teenaged Losers again, which means that thankfully the kids are still alright. We’ll hopefully be getting more scenes with them in this film, as their chemistry is what made the first film so popular. If we get flashbacks to that first fateful summer, that would be a perfect way of tying both films together.

Of course, Pennywise is still up to no good, even as the trailer teases his coming end. We get a glimpse of Bill Skarsgård’s horrifying clown at the end of the trailer, a perfect note to end on. Earlier on, we also get a gory shot of Pennywise melting and that was just gross in the best kind of horror movie way. I cannot wait to watch this film in a packed theater where everyone’s screaming in terror.

Are you ready to return to Derry? Which of the adult Losers are you most excited to see take on the role? Let us know in the comments.
