No Midichlorians in The Force Awakens (And the Star Wars Holiday Special Is Canon)

During an extremely goofy Comic-Con interview with MTV, J.J. Abrams revealed some slight details about The Force Awakens in a rapid-fire question round. The most important takeaway: Force Awakens will be mercifully midichlorian free.
