Things We Saw Today: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Dispenses Some Pot Wisdom

Recommended Videos

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live to dispense a bit of wisdom regarding recreational pot use in a work setting. Granted, this was a writer’s room with Seth Rogen, but the wisdom still stands. Oh, be sure to check out his spot-on Rogen laugh imitation at :30. It’s amazing. (via Vulture)

  • Bette Midler pretty much said Hocus Pocus 2 is like fetch–it just isn’t going to happen. And when Midler says it isn’t going to happen, it isn’t going to happen. We’re heartbroken. (via NewNowNext)
  • Liam Payne (you know, of One Direction) is apparently a huge Harry Potter nerd. He bought that flying Ford Anglias from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I hope he didn’t pay too much, cause that thing’s got a faulty invisibility booster. (via BuzzFeed)

You all remember this GIF right? It made its rounds around the internet and we all laughed, and laughed, and laughed. Well, one cosplayer didn’t laugh. They were inspired. (via Fashionably Geek)

  • LkCa 15b (we need to figure out more creative naming conventions) is in the process of becoming a planet. Scientists have been watching it very closely to see it develop. This marks the first documented case of a planet forming in space. We better throw a planet shower. (via Forbes)
  • A brand new species of arachnid was found in Brazil, and get this: it’s been named after Smeagol. Iandumoema smeagol is from the same family as daddy long legs or harvestmen, which are apparently arachnids but not spiders. You can check out a photo of the adorable little guy over at the Washington Post.

Plenty of stuff to see today, plenty of stuff. Do share what you saw today with us!

Wait, did that kind of rhyme?
