Things We Saw Today: This Girl’s Rey Mural Will Give You New Room Goals

A super-talented mom (@exorcisingemily on Twitter) surprised her daughter with a mural of Rey from The Force Awakens on her bedroom wall. As you can tell from the photo, she’s obviously a huge Rey fan–and her reaction to seeing the mural for the first time (as documented on Twitter by her mom) is definitely the reaction I would have if my mom did that for me. (I did get stenciled dolphins once upon a time, though.)

• Star Wars has finally been bumped from its top spot at the domestic box office this weekend, thanks to a combo one-two punch from Ride Along 2 and The Revenant. Is it bad that I didn’t even remember the first Ride Along coming out? (via ComingSoon.net)
• The latest news from Netflix about the Gilmore Girls revival is, well, there is no news. According to Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, they’re trying to button up all the deets before giving us more, and the major stars slated to return are still in negotiations. (via TVLine)

Jim the Pit Bull does parkour (or should we say barkour?)

• Black Mirror has cast actresses Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis for the latest installment of the anthology series. I’m still planning to watch through my fingers. (via Variety)
