Things We Saw Today: Dogs Flown to Orlando to Comfort Survivors
A group of 12 comfort dogs from Chicago were flown out to Florida to help provide comfort to survivors of the horrific events that took place in Orlando on Sunday. The power of an emotional support animal should not be discounted, and a quick look at the Kye Comfort Dog Facebook page can show you why. (via The Dodo)

Aelia Petro has created these amazing dragon necklaces and bracelets that make it look like you’ve got your very own baby dragon wrapped around your neck or arm. NASA has recently released a series of recruitment posters seeking astronauts to charge bravely into the huge, gaping, bleak, darkness of space. It seems they drew inspiration from WWI and WWII recruitment posters, judging by both the seemingly hand-painted texture and the callbacks to actual recruitment posters; the “We Need You” poster, for example. - Dark Horse is coming out with a pair of comic books based on some of your favorite shows and movies: Avatar: The Last Airbender and Serenity. They’re currently up for preorder, with a release date slated for October 25th.
