It’s confirmed: Jonah Hex will once again show up on Legends of Tomorrow for its second season. The famous comic book character was portrayed by actor Johnathon Schaech in season one’s episode “The Magnificent Eight”, which was arguably one of the standout stories of the series’s inaugural season. We don’t know which episode he’ll be appearing in yet, but the name of the episode (based on the photo) appears to be “Outlaw Country.” Hmmm.
- Could Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt and Vin Diesel be hyping up the sequel a little too much? We can’t confirm as we haven’t seen anything that would either lend credibility to or dismiss the excitement–meanwhile, we’ve still got until May 5, 2017 to find out. (via io9)
- At TIFF today, Cheryl Boone Isaacs spoke about the Academy’s push to diversify its members: “It’s a big goal, but you have to set a big goal. If you don’t set a big goal than what’s the point?”
- These handmade winged backpacks are the perfect accessory if you want to embrace your inner Castiel (or any other fictional angel). They’d also make a good asset for some casual angel cosplay. (via Fashionably Geek)
- If you want to keep the #StarTrek50 celebration going, BBC America is airing the original series in its entirety all weekend. (via Redshirts Always Die)
