At last! The young, badass, Latina hero, America Chavez is finally getting her own Marvel solo title! Marvel made the announcement at NYCC, though they gave very little in the way of details. All we have to go on now is this awesome cover art for America #1 by Jamie McKelvie. Note: Jamie McKelvie, along with Kieron Gillen, boosted America into popularity in their run on Young Avengers. The Hulu adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, which is set for release next year, released the briefest of teasers today, and it is appropriately unnerving.
Well, that’s it from us! Whether you’re at New York Comic Con, GeekGirlCon, or just chillin’ and watching nerdy stuff at home this weekend, we hope you have a great one!
