Things We Saw Today: Stranger Things Finally Gets the Funko Treatment
Funko debuted their Stranger Things figures today and they’re adorably strange! It includes all the main characters, with a few different versions of Eleven, the Demogorgon, and Will. They’re available for pre-order now and will hit shelves early next year.
- Hot Topic now has a Fantastic Beasts fashion collection which includes some delightful flapper-style dresses! (via Nerdist)
- CBS reports that while male birth control shots have been effective, several participants dropped out of a study due to side effects that include mood changes. Unfortunately, it seems like the gender gap in contraception “may not close anytime soon.”
- We have conflicted thoughts on parts of Doctor Strange, but you can’t deny their science competition that promotes STEM excellence among young girls is a magical, wonderful thing.
- Snow White is set to be Disney’s newest live-action musical. While Universal’s recent take on the fairy tale makes this feel unoriginal, bringing in The Girl on the Train writer for the script and the La La Land songwriters for new music definitely raises my interest. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
