Things We Saw Today: Is This What the Klingons in Star Trek: Discovery Will Look Like?
io9 shared a possible first look at the Klingon costumes from Star Trek: Discovery. An extra from the Toronto set posted an image captioned, “Hanging out with my new Klingon Crew today.” In the image, it looks like the Klingons will have their signature ridged foreheads, without the smoothing-out caused by the Augment virus. They also look bald–no glorious locks!–but I don’t know if that’s just a result of where they were in the hair/makeup process.

- Kotaku shared a story of a grandfather who said the game Destiny changed his life, and in doing so, inspired others to share the game’s impact on them.
- The adorable-looking Turkish street cat documentary, Kedi, made $40.5K from its exclusive showings at New York’s Metrograph Theater…so I’m confused why it isn’t already scheduled to play on loop at every cinema in my area. Bring the people what they want, Hollywood! Cats! CATS! (Via Deadline)
