Things We Saw Today: This Weather Report Got Sidelined By a 420-Friendly Sasquatch

I live in New England, so I’ve been wading through a whole lot of snow lately, thanks to multiple blizzards coming down on us in the past few days. Needless to say, I got a good laugh out of this amazing video of someone else in my fine state of Massachusetts–in Springfield, specifically–crashing a local weather report while wearing a Sasquatch costume made out of marijuana leaves (real ones? fake ones? who made this costume? Because: wow). That’s one way to have some fun during a totally bonkers snowstorm, right? (via Laughing Squid)

• Did you get to see A Tribe Called Quest’s performance at the Grammy’s last night? Anderson Paak and Busta Rhymes joined the group for a rousing performance of “We the People,” during which Busta took a moment to call out President Trump. The NY Times has a very brief clip of part of the performance, which will hopefully be available in full at some point for those who didn’t get to watch it live.
• Polygon has offered us all a peek inside the pages of Mass Effect: Discovery, an upcoming comic book series that will expand upon the world of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Yesss.
• That much-anticipated Legend of Korra comic is now available for pre-order on Amazon!
• If you’re going to be traveling overseas soon and you’re worried about the authorities searching your phone and other electronic devices, Wired has some tips.
• According to Sophie Turner, the next X-Men movie–titled X-Men: Supernova–starts production later this year. (via Coming Soon)
• Rachel Lindsay has been tapped to front an upcoming season of The Bachelorette, which is a historic move; she’ll be the first black star of the show, ever. (via Jezebel)
• The latest teaser for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt features Titus donning Beyonce’s iconic yellow dress and wreaking some havoc (via EW):
