First, we saw the whole gang from the upcoming Han Solo movie earlier today, and now we have the cast of Alien: Covenant, gathered together on their ship and looking as happy as we’re sure they won’t be in the film. (via Birth. Movies. Death.)
- Dwayne McDuffie’s frequent collaborator Matt Wayne was set to write a tribute to the late comics professional in the program book for this year’s SDCC. Instead, it will not be running, because Comic-Con apparently can’t handle honesty about the flaws in the comics industry. You can read Wayne’s full tribute over at The Nerdy Bird.
- Seth Myers has missed Jordan Peele’s Barack Obama impression, especially in light of current political goings-on, and so have we. Peele indulged him on Late Night.
- Game of Thrones‘ Iwan Rheon will be starring in the upcoming Marvel Inhumans series on ABC as the show’s lead, Maximus. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
- Lastly, here are this year’s nominees for the Nebula Awards from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America! (via io9)
