Riz Ahmed continues to demonstrate just how excellent he is as a human being. Here, in a clip of his lecture from the U.K.’s Channel 4 series on diversity, he extolls the virtues of representation throughout pop culture and the media. You can read more about his speech in The Hollywood Reporter.
- Today marks the release of Logan, the latest highly-anticipated film in the X-Men franchise. It’s Hugh Jackman’s final turn as the clawed bub, and here, director James Mangold shares his thoughts on that and the film’s push for an R-rating. (via The Hollywood Reporter).
- We’re also two weeks away from the release of another highly-anticipated film: Beauty and the Beast. Josh Gad, who plays LeFou, responds to the criticisms and praise regarding the revelation that LeFou is a gay character. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
I discovered two things looking into this story: 1.) You can get married at a gosh darn Taco Bell, and 2.) those wrappers are super, super sturdy. Mazel tov, now hit me with that Fire Sauce. (via Geekologie)
- I also didn’t know that this was a hotly-debated topic: apparently James Lipton (you know, the host of Inside the Actors Studio), didn’t write the theme song for Thundercats. (via CBR)
Lol if you plug a Nintendo Switch into a new MacBook Pro, the Switch charges the laptop, not the other way around pic.twitter.com/YJhMct6fKO

Those of you rockin’ the new Nintendo Switch might like to know that you can’t actually use your new MacBook Pro as a potential power source. Plugging it into the notebook actually sets it up so that the MacBook charges, not the Switch. Huh.
Hella things to see today, pals. What’d you see?
