Things We Saw Today: Here’s Some 90-Second Animated Versions of Movies Because You’re Too Busy

Recommended Videos

Russian animation company 420 (heh) created 90-second animated versions of some of the biggest movies in recent memory. This includes a really great Force Awakens short, Blade Runner, and even Back to the Future. They’re all in Russian (because of course), but the animation is evocative enough that you can figure out what’s going on pretty easily. (via Boing Boing)

  • Blizzard dropped a brand new Overwatch comic today, which is said to be a preview of what we can expect from the next content patch. How about those sweet uniforms, though?
  • CHRIS ROBERT EVANS, will you make up your gosh darn mind already about whether you want to play Captain America again after Avengers 4? I mean really, now. (via Newsarama)

If you’ve got Tidal, then you should go check out the brand new Beyoncé track that just got dropped last night. I don’t have it, but judging by the preview, it’s lovely.

  • Apparently Disney is in talks to bring Michael Keaton on board (wait for it) … Tim Burton’s Dumbo. Yeah. Yeah, I know, right? (via CBR)
  • Rumors began floating around the internet yesterday saying that Pearl Mackie (Bill Potts, the Doctor’s newest companion on Doctor Who) may be leaving the show after only one season, which hasn’t even premiered yet. If true, that’s pretty disheartening, as the character was recently revealed to be the first openly gay companion on Doctor Who. (via Geek.net)

What’d you see today, friend?
