  • If you voice a suicidal thought to Siri, she (fine, it) will now bring up the number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and ask if you’d like to call them. If you don’t respond after a short period of time Siri will pull up a list of local suicide prevention centers. Said John Draper, the director of the National Suicide Prevention Lifetime Network, “You would be really surprised. There are quite a number of people who say very intimate things to Siri or to computers. People who are very isolated tend to converse with Siri.” (Jezebel)
  • Via SuperHeroHype, we have some new/updated movie release dates: X-Men: Days of Future Past, now 5/23/2014, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, now 7/18/2014, swapped dates; Assassin’s Creed has been pushed back to 6/19/2015; and Independence Day 2 will come out one day before Independence Day in 2015.
