  • Michael B. Jordan confirmed that he auditioned for Star Wars: Episode VII. To switch franchises for a moment: Make it so. He also said he’s “definitely interested” in being in Fantastic Four, for which he is rumored to be in the running for Johnny Storm. (Digital Spy)
  • FX’s new Fargo show has added a whole boatload of actors who’ll star alongside Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton, and one of them sounds distinctly Marge Gunderson-y. Via The Hollywood Reporter, Allison Tolman will play deputy Molly Solverson, who’s “younger, smarter, and more ambitious” [than] her boss Deputy Bill Olson, to be played by Bob Odenkirk.
  • I’m not a particular fan of Kick-Ass, but I wouldn’t say no to this Hit-Girl jacket. (Gotham News)

This doesn’t sound good: Saving Mr. Banks director John Lee Hancock has been brought in by Disney to oversee reshoots for Maleficent, directed by first-timer Robert Stromberg. Above you’ll find the new logo for the film. (/Film)
