- There’s an island in Japan that’s home to 15 people and 100+ cats. According to Death and Taxes this “cat island” “isn’t host to any restaurants, hotels or any of the basic travel amenities and it’s only accessible by a daily ocean liner,” but I’m sure that’s not enough to stop many cat lovers.
- Tom Hardy is set to star in Elton John biopic Rocketman. I love it. There’s nothing that brings me joy quite like casting that at first seems completely strange, but then when you think about it it’s like an angel came down from heaven and is sprinkling fairy dust on you. - This is not a drill: R.L. Stine is bringing back Fear Street. Even the news that the new series, hitting shelves in October 2014, will be called Party Games instead of Fear Street (eugh) can’t stop my inner child from freaking out. (The New York Times)
