- The Ellen Page-starring film adaptation of Greg Rucka‘s Queen & Country has a new writer: Olivia Milch, who’s also writing Sony’s Little Women remake. (Comic Book Resources)
- Via The Frisky, Black Women’s Hair Is Under More Scrutiny With The Army’s New Grooming Regulations. Now banned: “braids or cornrows larger than a quarter of an inch.” Because, according to a spokesman, the army must “maintain uniformity within a military population.” They need to ditch that “the default is white” mindset.
I can’t imagine Billie Piper actually plays a consumptive vampire in Penny Dreadful, but that’s sure what it looks like judging by this poster.
