- The original studio model of the U.S.S. Enterprise is currently in the shop. The 49-year-old ship’s been on display at the National Air and Space Museum, and though it’s undergone several rounds of cosmetic detailing, these have been primarily to make the model look good, rather than to restore it to the way it appeared when used in filming.
