Amy Mebberson (you may remember her Pocket Princesses) is busy as a bee at Comic-Con right now but still found time to make some posts on her tumblr. Here’s a sketch she did of Brave’s Merida as a Green Lantern! And it was so popular, she made her a Blue Lantern next!
- EDITED: We missed this bit of exciting news when making our Day 2 Comic-Con roundup: Joss Whedon announced Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog will make it’s television debut on the CW network in the fall! (via THR)
- Kelly Hu has been cast as China White in the CW’s Arrow series. (via Deadline)
A Comic-Con exclusive poster – Kevin Tong does LEGO: The Lord of the Rings. (via Collider)
- Deadline reported actress Jessica Biel had been cast in the role of Viper in The Wolverine but Biel herself just denied while doing Total Recall interviews at Comic-Con, saying she knew nothing about it. Hmm. (via Blastr)
- All these 3D films and hi-res images are apparently adding up. THR reports, “between 2012 and 2017, there could be a 5.6 times increase in the amount of digital storage used in the entertainment industry.” That means a bump from $5.6 billion to more than $7.8 billion to store the files.
