These adorable robots really hate opening doors. And grabbing things. And walking. And, you know, generally staying upright. Just watch and imagine them throwing a tantrum in a grocery store aisle next to you. Frightening, right? (via The Verge)
- Apparently Lifetime actually moved forward with the “top-secret” Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig project, A Deadly Adoption. Originally, a bunch of outlets reported that it had been cancelled because Ferrell wanted it to be a secret project, but as of right now it’s slated for release on June 20th, according to a poster shown by Lifetime Networks. - Well, Hellboy has his own dinosaur. No, seriously. Regaliceratops peterhewsi, aka “Hellboy” is similar to a triceratops, but is unique in several different ways. “Its nose horn is taller and the two horns over its eyes are almost comically small,” explains paleontologist Dr. Caleb Brown. The Hellboy nickname was earned not for its horns but by the effort it took to dig up the fossil. Neat! (via Nerdist)

- Recently, Amy Sherman-Palladino, the mind behind Gilmore Girls, was on a reunion panel in Austin, where she shared her feelings at not being brought in on the series finale. She said, “It’s always a bummer when you don’t get to end it. I had hoped maybe that there would have been a call, ‘Hey, it’s the last episode, do you want to come back?’ And there wasn’t.” Alas. - Originally, Stephen King’s The Stand was only going to get a feature-length film. Then, suddenly, there were four movies announced. Well, The Wrap reports that there’s now an 8 episode mini-series on the way. This project just keeps growing and growing. (via io9)
