In fairness, the Hover Bike really only looks like an incredibly dangerous and combustible speeder bike from Star Wars from the side, and from the top, it looks a lot more like a homemade contraption that a child would try to jump out of a tree with to slow their fall. But the military really is working on them for practical use. (via Gizmodo)

- There’s a report that Selma‘s Ava Duvernay will direct Marvel’s Black Panther, but it’s still unconfirmed. (via Pajiba)
