The whole “found footage” thing has been done to death, we all know. But Timelike, an online film, is doing its best to bring it back to the fore. It centers around a woman who receives a message from herself in the future. As the movie goes on, she finds she’s trapped in a time paradox. The film goes from unsettling to downright creepy and is totally worth a watch. (via io9)

  • Lexi Alexander, who recently directed an episode of Arrow after her run on the Punisher: Total War movie, tweeted that she’d totally forego her director’s fee if someone would greenlight a Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan movie. Listen up, Marvel! (via CBR)

  • Were you obsessively looking over the Deadpool trailer when it was released last week? If so, compare notes with Geek Tyrant’s rad list of six things you probably missed in that trailer. Go on. Have a little fun with it.
  • Rebecca Black. Her name might inspire a bit of laughter, some chuckling, or maybe even some anger. But what’s she been up to since her song Friday made her an (in)famous household name? BuzzFeed has a great article on all of that, plus what she’s working on for the future.

That’s a ton of stuff. What did you see today?
