Things We Saw Today: Singing Opera with Helium Sounds Strangely Beautiful
Inhaling helium can be dangerous, since it involves oxygen deprivation, so listening to opera singer Christina Elizabeth singing “Deh Vieni Non Tardar” from Le Nozze Di Figaro with the aid of a helium balloon is quite the guilty pleasure. If anybody’s diaphragm can take the strain, it’s a trained opera singer, right? That seems like, uh, science. Anyway, she sounds incredible. (via ViralViralVideos)
