According to a survey carried out by LiveScience, 54% of Americans believe in extraterrestrial life. To sum up my own feelings, I quote Arthur C. Clarke: “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” Anyone else suddenly feel lonely?

  • Apparently Tank Abbott, a former UFC champion, said that he’d “beat Ronda Rousey,” then she’d “make him a sandwich.” Uh-huh. Okay, dude. (via Huffington Post)
  • Speaking of skeezy dudes, apparently a James Madison University fraternity wasted absolutely zero time getting their rushes to start targeting female students. They were given a list of dorm room numbers belonging to female students, all ranked according to “hotness.” Gross. (via Gawker)
