• Speaking of classic movies, The Shining prequel’s screenwriter, James Vanderbilt, emphasized that this movie is “completely its own film.” Frankly, that sounds fantastic. I don’t really need another axe meets door scene or bloody elevators. Let’s try something original, shall we? (via Collider)

If you’re heading into NYCC this weekend, check out New Era’s limited edition Batman v Superman caps. Featured here is the Wonder Woman version of the hat, which, frankly, I’d wear to a ballgame any day.

Look! Up in the sky! It’s (not) aliens! It’s the new X-Files intro sequence! Okay, not really. Sorry. Vulture totally got us on this one too, but: they’re not wrong. Apparently the upcoming series is going to use the same old intro sequence that we all know and love. Exciting!
