Things We Saw Today: We Want to Take All Our Rage Out in Comic-Con’s Smashable Harley Quinn Chaos Room

Recommended Videos

Comic-Con is officially upon us, and while there’s a ton of exciting news coming out of San Diego, the thing I’m most obsessed with isn’t actually within the convention center itself. A number of immersive experiences–dubbed “activations”–have been set up through the surrounding neighborhood. Last year, the con’s Westworld activation made me drool with envy, but this year, it’s the Harley Quinn Chaos Room that has me wishing I were there.

Part of a larger “DC Experience,” the Harley room sets you loose in a recreation of Quinn’s prison cell with a jumpsuit, protective eyewear, and a baseball bat to smash away to your heart’s delight. It looks incredible. (First video is mildly NSFW for brief swearing.)

That looks like one hell of a stress reliever. And in my dream version of this day, after smashing a bunch of stuff, I would love to walk over to this The Good Place activation to eat ALL the shrimp.

Happy almost Friday, Mary Suevians! Happy smashing!
