Things We Saw Today: Hogwarts Castle Looks Gorgeous in New Universal Studios Nighttime Show
It’s time for a (not-so-surprising) confession from yours truly. I’m a complete and total sucker for nighttime fireworks and/or light shows. In fact, for the entirety of this five-minute-or-so video of the new projection mapped show in Universal Studios Hollywood, I was a bit of a teary-eyed mess. Never mind the fact that we could all use a bit of whimsy and wonder in today’s cold, cruel world; I was just awed by “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle’s” pretty neat effects and its clever use of projections. I mean, it’s no “Remember… Dreams Come True” from Disneyland, but… hey, it’s still pretty magical. (via io9)
