In response to reports that Trump called Haiti, El Salvador, and all of the nations in Africa “shitholes,” protesters reportedly projected the word “shithole,” as well as scores of poop emojis, onto the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Video and photos of the projections were posted on the Twitter account of Robin Bell. Bell previously partnered with The Human Rights Campaign to project a series of “banned” words, which the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) were reportedly ordered not to use in budget documents, onto the hotel. These words included “transgender,” “diversity,” and “evidence-based.” Resistance SF, a different organization, have also used the power of projectors to point out Twitter’s complicity over in San Francisco.
