Warner Bros. has unveiled the new trailer for Ready Player One, Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ernest Cline’s novel. We get to see more of the OASIS in this one, and this trailer actually outlines the principal plot of the film. There are definitely some Spielbergian touches here, which I was happy to see, though Spielberg himself has said, “I had to leave a lot of myself out, or I would have had to defer to another director.” The movie will hit theaters on March 30, 2018. • Cards Against Humanity is a problematic game, to be sure, but they did something touching and surprising this week. They redistributed the wealth of the 150,000 customers who’d each paid $15 for Cards Against Humanity Saves America, sending $1,000 checks to 100 of their poorest subscribers. This is a powerful and beautiful testament to how easily we could ease people’s suffering by redistributing a little from those who have a lot. The testimonials from people who received these checks are a heartbreaking reminder of how utterly broken our political and economic system is.
  • Yet another woman has come forward with allegations about Donald Trump’s sexual misconduct. Juliet Huddy, formerly a Fox News anchor, told the Mornin!!! with Bill Schulz podcast that in 2005 Trump tried to kiss her on the lips in a Trump Tower elevator. (via The Slot)
  • Stranger Things’ David Harbour is now the official dictionary definition of “dad bod,” after Merriam-Webster tweeted out a GIF of his iconic dancing alongside their definition. Since Harbour has proudly touted his status as the daddest bod, I’m delighted that Merriam-Webster acknowledged him as the icon he is. (via Nerdist)

That’s all I found today, readers! What’d you see?
