Things We Saw Today: Chris Evans Says Avengers 4 Will “Wrap Things Up” for Steve Rogers but What About Me, Chris? What About Me?
Listen, Chris, I love you and your earnest activism and your adorable dogs, but Steve Rogers is my favorite and I’m not going to give him up without a fight.
See here, Christopher Robert, I know you want to expand your acting oeuvre and do the directing thing but I’m going to have to ask you to think about this very carefully. I’m grateful that you decided to extend your initial contract to be in both Infinity Wars, but this just makes me extremely nervous that Steve is going to be killed off in some spectacular fashion and no, I don’t care if it’s comics and people can come back to life and Steve could come back if you get bored in five years because I cannot watch Steve Rogers die, okay? And sure, maybe he’ll pass off the Captain America shield to Winter Soldier or Falcon and that’s fine because we love them too but Bucky and Sam need Steve, capiche? I am incapable of watching Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson mourn Steve Rogers, y’hear? Great, I’m glad we had this little chat. (via Nerdist)

I think I need a hug or, like, a comforting hand on my shoulder. What’d you see today, pal?
