Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns, DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer, both offered a sneak peek at the Wonder Woman sequel on social media by sharing the image below:

Johns posted the image on Facebook while Jenkins changed her Twitter background. The image reads “WW84”, hinting at the 1980’s setting of the sequel film. The as yet untitled sequel will take place during the Cold War and feature Kristen Wiig as famous adversary Cheetah. Pedro Pascal (Games of Thrones) has also been added to the cast, although his roll is under wraps for now. Warner Bros. has set the sequel for Nov. 1, 2019, and we can’t wait.
