This is a Human Slingshot [Video]

We’ve featured some pretty amazing slingshots on our humble blog, but this is a whole different scale. Forget projectiles, forget intricate locking mechanisms. Instead, this human-sized catapult owned by the Pope family in Hobble Creek, Utah just flings people through the air — safely attached to bungee cords — with the help of an ATV.

So the next time you’re wondering what back yard project you could do with those two telephone poles you’ve been saving, consider the human slingshot.
