‘Titans’ Releases Behind-the-Scenes Looks at My Favorite Trash Show
Season four of Titans is coming soon, and I’m excited about the casting promises (hello, Joseph Morgan as Brother Blood). Director Nicholas Copus has been delivering a lot of behind-the-scenes looks at the cast going on the next stage of their collective messy journey.
While I make fun of Titans, I also love it deeply. The series plays fast and loose with characters, plots, and structure, but I do keep coming back because I have fun seeing just how far it will go.
Season three very much ended up being the best season of the series. It had a lot of fun character moments, and I loved the way it developed Blackfire and Starfire’s sisterly relationships, the Conner/Blackfire relationship, Barbara and Dick’s back and forth. Plus, Beast Boy finally got to turn into different animals. Jason Todd’s storyline sort of fizzled out towards the end, but it was making an attempt to be exciting for their canon.
I’m excited for season four, and I’m hoping it will continue to be weirder and give Anna Diop even more screentime because she’s perfect as Starfire, and every year, her wigs get better. Praise Tamran.
